The Blephasteam Dry Eye Therapy is a unique medical device that delivers controlled moisture levels and heat therapy to help relieve symptoms associated dry eye. Blephasteam provides electronically controlled moisture and heat therapy to unblock the meibomian glands.

What are the benefits of Blephasteam Dry Eye Therapy?
The Blephasteam Dry Eye Therapy works by heating up the meibomian glands so they are easier to be expressed and unblocked. By unblocking the meibomian glands, tear quality is improved, which in turn has positive benefits for eye health, vision and comfort. 

What does Blephasteam Dry Eye Therapy involve?
Blephasteam therapy is delivered by wearing goggles that produce steam, worn by the patient over open eyes. During a session, the patient experiences warmth around eye eyes and has clear vision during the session so the patient can carry out normal activities.

How many Blephasteam Dry Eye Therapy sessions do I need?
The therapy works by unblocking the meibomian glands, but once it ceases, the glands get blocked up again without continual therapy sessions. For this reason the therapy must be regular to relieve dry eye symptoms. Typically you will require regular sessions to maintain the improvement in your dry eye symptoms.
