WHERE IS EYECARE PLUS MERMAID BEACH LOCATED?
Eyecare Plus Mermaid Beach is located at Shop 3a, 2431 Gold Coast Hwy, Mermaid Beach. We are situated around many shops and services including Essence of Living, Cardiac Dynamics, Mermaid Central Medical Clinic and more. Please call us for any bookings or general enquiries.

Eyecare Plus Mermaid Beach is easily accessible by public transport. We are on bus route 700 and our closest bus stops are Gold Coast Hwy at Annette Kellerman Park and Gold Coast Hwy Glenelg Avenue which are both only 1-2 minutes walk from the practice.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
We have free parking available. There is a car parking facility behind Eyecare Plus Mermaid Beach on William street just off the Gold Coast Hwy. There is also a car parking facility at St Johns Park Carpark which is 1 minute walk away from Eyecare Plus Mermaid Beach via the Gold Coast Hwy. We also have on street parking available on the Gold Coast Hwy and William street.
WHAT IS OUR PRECISION VISION CHECK?
Precision Vision Check is more than just an eye test. Our optometrists take the time needed to give you a thorough eye examination and check your prescription precisely for best vision. Following your Precision Vision Check we will carefully explain the results and discuss our recommendations regarding any preventative or remedial care required. We will offer the best lens options that match your visual needs and recommend personalised premium lenses.
HOW MUCH DOES AN EYE TEST COST?
Medicare benefits are payable for most consultations. Some additional fees apply for services that are not yet covered by Medicare, such as Diagnostic Scans, Dry Eye Assessments, Dry Eye Treatments, Orthokeratology, Aesthetic Assessments and Aesthetic Treatments. Our staff will be pleased to explain these fees.
DOES EYECARE PLUS MERMAID BEACH PROVIDE EYE TESTS FOR CHILDREN?
1 in 5 Australian children have vision problems. We provide children's eye tests to make sure that any vision problems are detected and any learning difficulties related to vision are corrected.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT?
We are able to fit in emergency appointments. We also reserve some appointments for patients who need a same-day appointment. Please call us to book an appointment.
CAN I USE MY PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
We are proud to accept all private health funds. You may use your benefits and have it processed immediately for glasses, prescription sunglasses and contact lenses. If you are not sure if your health fund is applicable, please call us or visit us.
WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Afterpay and Zippay. So you can Buy Now and Pay Later!

DOES EYECARE PLUS MERMAID BEACH PROVIDE BENEFITS FOR VETERANS?
Spectacles and contact lenses may be provided at no cost for patients covered by Veterans Affairs. Our staff will be pleased to advise you on your entitlement.
